My 1947 CJ2A chasis with CJ2A front cap, M38 tub & CJ3A windshield, as found in Snowball, Arkansas in spring 2003.

What a change a set of tires & rims (just so we could get it loaded), a trip through a car wash & the removal of the modified bumper with capstan winch makes:

Late fall, down to the absolute bare bones with a sand blaster . . .

Several months into the reassembly, beginning to look like a Jeep again . . .

The near-finished product just last December, 2005 . . . driven for the first time since it came into my ownership:
